Good premise, but some of the ideas are stupid and the artwork is atrocious. Glad I didn’t spend money on it.

Loved it. Not as in “it will change your life” loved it, but “good golly I cannot imagine a more perfect book to linger over in the bath.” How completely lovely and chuckle inducing. Favorite idle pleasures include: hiding, wandering around old churches, poking the fire, and squishing bread.

This would make an excellent selection for daily reading and reflection.

All the pleasures described within are free and easy but can be easily forgotten due to the hectic life we experienced. This is a simple book but it accomplished what it want to do therefore, i recommend this book to anyone.

A cute little book, though some of the suggestions can be maddening in their 'tweeness'. However, the best thing about this book is that it reminds the reader that taking pleasure in simple things is a joy we can all partake in, often with no training, equipment or effort.
