Loved being back with these characters and to be in the place it was set whilst reading was serendipity.
The series follows forensic sculpture Eve Duncan as she delves into cases of unknown skulls and tries to find the person for families and the police.
Fast paced and full of wrong turns, Johansen always keeps me guessing.

Just finished this book this morning. I didn't like putting it down. I wasn't sure where the book was going and that compelled me to keep going. I wasn't disapointed!

Wow. This one might be my favorite Eve Duncan so far. Incredibly suspenseful with a plot so intricate I literally dreamed about it. Two thumbs up :)

Really great book, an even bigger conspiracy then the first book, great mystery with lots of twists and turns! Can't wait to read more!

Decent story line. Boring character progression. I get it. She's a wounded woman. She has trust issues. And committment issues. And a sad back story. Can we move on? Jane, her foster child, and Galen, her bodyguard, were my favorite characters. They were witty and sensical. Overall, not a bad read.
