This is a fun, light-weight book that I enjoyed reading. Celia Langford has just lost her husband and is wanting a new start. Her husband was a liar, adulterer, good doctor, rotten husband, and died leaving her with large debts and no insurance. She sells everything and sets out for Florida where she plans to open a small café and indulge her love of cooking, whilst at the same time earning a living. She runs into one problem after problem but is helped through them by the new friends she makes including Dax, the owner of the local diving school and shop.

For me, the characters lacked depth, and I was not as emotionally invested in them as I would have liked. At times, I felt that the story was rushed, and that important incidents and events were glossed over. Despite this, I would recommend this book to others. It was the perfect read for a rainy afternoon when I didn't want to read anything too taxing.
