This is a beautifully written story about finding happiness and inner peace in a world that shuts you out. Though this book largely has one setting, I never felt bored. There’s a decent amount characters that come and go and it was really interesting to see how Circe affected them and vice-versa.

The journey with Circe to me felt like looking at an old photo and suddenly realizing how much time has actually passed and how much change and growth had occurred. There’s a quote by the author that reflects how I felt the entire time reading this. “I love how simultaneously epic and larger-than-life these stories feel, and also how real and personal”. Truly an incredible read.

Great and epic storytelling spanning all the best of Greek mythology from the point of view of Circe, daughter of Helios. This was an adventurous and atmospheric read with plenty of drama and action. The writing was also beautiful and flowed like water and really liked the themes it touched upon!
