“Being at peace is knowing that you don’t always have to know the details of every step ahead to ultimately end up where you were meant up be.”
Reading Morgan Harper Nichols works are like sitting in a coffee shop having a heart to heart chat with a friend who is holding space for you to experience all the emotions while also holding you accountable to be your best self. I appreciated her vulnerable, open way of sharing her journey while also tying it into reflective practices we can incorporate into our lives to remain grounded and intentional.

This lovely little book with many nuggets of wisdom was a pleasant surprise. The timing of this book could not have been better. As the busy holiday season approaches, it was nice to be reminded of the importance of slowing down, breathing deep and taking time to notice the small things. There were also practical tips that I will be trying. I do not feel like there was necessarily a lot of new information in this book, but the lyrical writing made it feel fresh.
I listened to the audiobook and the author's voice was very soothing. The author's writing voice felt open and authentic, and this book left me feeling hopeful.

Love love love Morgan Harper Nichols as a poet and this book didn’t disappoint. Adding this to my homeschool reading list (for when my kids are in high school). She talks about her own experience dealing with undiagnosed autism, being black, and being a Christian growing into peace beyond understanding.
Listened to the audio and her voice was VERY calming so I sped it up a bit. (She even writes about her voice at some point in the book!

Wonderful.
I just might read this one again rather than just listen to it!
