Having read and enjoyed the first, I was pleased that this just carried the story on seamlessly. Our four men, originally two couples have joined as a foursome when circumstance forced Lidon(an Alpha) to meet Vieno(an Omega). They were a fated pair but Palani was also found to be mated to Vieno. In this story, Enar is still struggling to see how he fits in this foursome and feels like a spare wheel. He is also struggling with his sexuality and doesn't feel he fits the box society has put him in.
The pack keeps growing as more join and Palani's research uncovers more questions than answers. The mystery isn't solved by the end of the book but as the next story focuses on a different grouping I hope we still get glimpses of Lidon's group.
A good omegaverse story.

While first book is about Lidon and Vieno coming together to save Vieno’s life this book is about Enar and his new life being a part of a foursome. Him finding his way when he’s not quite alpha enough. He needs to figure out where he falls in this new life they have created and he needs accept that all his mates want him just the way he is. Amazing book and I can’t wait to find out what’s next for these men

Oh, sweet Enar, how I love thee. ;)
Somehow I always gravitate towards the confused ones.

The story picks up where the first book left off. It’s one thing that the men made the decision to become a foursome, it is entirely another to actually be in a poly relationship. It was especially hard for Enar, who’s a born alpha, but always felt different. To fully feel the connection and be completely in sync with his men, first he had to accept himself. He struggled a lot to come to terms with his true nature, thankfully his men were there with him every step of the way.

Otherwise, all four men were in each other’s arms in some way, either just comforting each other or… yeah, going at it like crazy bunnies, but thankfully it didn’t feel too much.

Now we got the omegaverse and the shifter-world mixed up (not sure everyone would like that), but how it was explained by Lidon’s uncle and Grayson, a famous alpha writer, it made sense to me. We got a bit of wolf-history.

The mystery got a bigger role this time, but it’s still not over. I’m not sure what to expect from the third book, because I kinda feel like we got almost everything from these men, and I think I would prefer if the story would continue from the other foursome’s (or moresome?) POV, otherwise to me it would feel a bit overdone, and it wouldn’t be about the romance anymore, but about the conspiracy, but let’s hope the author will prove me wrong. On the other hand I loved seeing the mystery unfold from Palani’s point of view, he’s whip-smart. And I want to see the pregnancy too from… well, everyone’s POV.

I love this series.
This book is not only sexy as hell it also keeps you guessing what's going to happen
next until the very end. I need book 3 now.

Superb continuation of this omegaverse series

I have no idea what's going on here but the system won't let me rate this higher than three stars. This is ridiculously stupid and clearly an error on both my Kindle and the Amazon connection. This is definitely a five star read for me and I will attempt to amend my review accordingly once at a PC.

*ETA I can fix the rating on the Goodreads app on my phone but not on my Kindle.

This is beyond hot, the whole series is incredibly passionate but still contains some exceptional world building and plotting.

In this follow up to Alpha's Sacrifice, Nora continues to fill in the history and back story of her omegaverse with new revelations about the investigations Palani and Lidon were involved in.

The dynamic between all four men is stabilisating and lordy do they get it on in this one :)

It never feels gratuitous though, it's all part of the bonding process they're going through as the uncover more about Lidon's family's special history.

More characters are brought in with this one too but again, it's never overwhelming and I'm dying to find out more about Enar's siblings and Grayson.
