Not for me. I can see where it sparked the minds of a generation. Just felt...off. I guess. It will warrant a re-read when my head is a bit clearer--or at least primed to want to read it.

I just didn't like this book. It was too violent, got tired of the drug addicts and you never really got to care very much about the characters. The story was iffy and I have read stories with better world building. I also don't think this book held up well over time.

Incredible cyber-punk world development and lackluster character development. A very creative, and in my opinion realistic, glimpse into what our future might look like.
