There's something about Jessica Goodman's writing that makes me tear through her books. This one was fairly predictable but I loved the setting of summer camp and the complicated relationships she had. Many high schoolers would be able to relate to it.

The Counselors- A straightforward YA Summer thriller that doesn’t try to reinvent the wheel. Pace was off and I found myself wishing for more of an interesting plot and deeper characters. The story was far too predictable for me. But the camp atmosphere was perfect making this an enjoyable summer read. A nice mystery for by the pool or at the beach if you’re looking for something with the vibe of Pretty Little Liars that you don’t have to think too much about. 3✨
