Overall it was okay, it felt like a book my mom would find funny, and I don't mean that in a bad way, it just sort of is what it is.
I really appreciated it's approach to not being so hard on yourself (aside from the jokes about how lazy you as the reader are) but there is a common feed into "just give it away and if you need a new one later, buy it." That is a temporary solution to a continuing long-term problem. We can't just keep buying and getting rid of. Use what you have and take your time and be deliberate about the choices you make. Chose what to buy and what to keep, thrift stores don't exist take take in your trash to make you feel better.

Also.... please don't microwave your water to make tea, have a kettle, it's okay to own a tool 😂😅

Content isn’t groundbreaking, but offered a nice kickstart to my decluttering/home update with a lighthearted tone and plenty of humor.

Even though this is a parody book, not only was it funny, but it also did have some real organizing and tidying advice that resonated with me.  I would say this book is for you if you want to start decluttering and getting rid of things, but when you hold your possessions you have no idea if they “spark joy” or not.
