This was a very fun, snarky take on decluttering. It’s a comical alternative to Marie Kondo’s The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up. I felt like it was a very Cliff’s Notes version for a much needed practical topic. Messie addresses all the hot topics when it comes to clutter- too much clothing, too many papers, too many (ack!) books… She specifically addresses culling the book shelves in a way I can agree with: Of the books you’ve read, pull out the ones you want to be buried with. THOSE are the keepers.
CCs lots of cussing. If you’re not okay with (IMO well placed) curse words, this isn’t the book for you. If you need a good laugh while crying about the state of the clutter in your home, read on!
