If only I could use this method to sort my brain ... As a clutterbug, I really enjoyed this and the swearing is lovely.

This really feels like an American "translation" of Marie Kondo. Marie Kondo's book really spoke to me, and this book is no different. Yeah, it's pretty much common-sense solutions to clutter and disorganization and that problem of just having too much dang stuff. But this one is written in the exact vernacular of my age and situation. I'm ready to tackle something for tidying.
I like the death cleaning one better, but this is good, to the point, and easily digestible. I'll be listening again.

While this didn't offer any new advice, I did enjoy how it took all the tidy up advice that has come out over recent years and brought it into the real world a bit. The swearing approach won't be for everyone but if you are that way inclined you'll enjoy this take on the spark joy method as it's swapped for the f*ck it method. I much prefer the idea of developing my f*ck it muscles, which I already have for so many other things. I also liked the acknowledgement that getting rid of stuff is hard and sometimes you do have to take a bit of a brutal approach to it. But, I didn't really agree with the section about getting rid of books although using the RRP as a guide for keeping them or not is a useful tip, I tend to use how many stars I've given it on GR but the principle is the same (I can't afford to upsize again just for my book collection). The book disagreement aside, I'll definitely be referring back to this one as and when I need to sort my sh*t out.
