I admit I'm pretty biased. I really liked the stories focused on Ellie and Alec. The others were, eh, okay and I could see how they provided background but I wasn't really interested.
My biggest gripe was that, on my kindle addition, only 70% were new short stories and the last was a preview of the novel. It's only a little annoying in the grand scheme of things but still annoying.
