When June offers a young woman a ride home from Weight Watchers, she has no idea that tragedy will strike and June will end up the sole survivor. Fulfilling Marissa's bucket list, seems like a way to honor her memory and help June with her feelings of guilt. Little does she know, the list will change her life forever.
This is a fantastic read! Heartwarming and funny!

I gave this chick lit novel my customary fifty pages and then skimmed the rest of the book. I loved the premise of the book, but felt like it had no energy. I just didn't care about any of the characters. I was turned off by the language as well. It was recommended by KSL.com and was chosen for our book group. A bummer of a read.
Heavier than your average chicklit due to the nature of June (the narrator's) situation: Marissa, a passenger in June's car, is thrown from the vehicle and killed. In the aftermath, June comes across a list that Marissa had been carrying in her purse: "20 Things to Do Before My 25th Birthday". June decides to finish the list before that date, six months from now.
This was OK, perfect for a road trip read, and I would read another by Smolinski if I ran across it.
