I picked up this book because I recently took a pottery class and have also been dealing with some tough times so the synopsis spoke to me. I ended up loving this book. It got me out a huge slump. The author is so thoughtful and reflective about her characters. You learn about events in their lives in a reflective way without any trauma dumping or hopelessness. I love the ending and her prose is so beautiful even translated form Korean. I am so glad I found this book and I think it will become a new comfort read of mine!

I have been in a reading slump and this book is just cozy and easy. Although it confronts some difficult topics, it does so in an overall soothing but realistic way. It felt good to read!
