The mysteries in this book were more fun and interesting than the mystery in the first book, Absolutely Truly. Pumpkin Falls almost feels like a place out of time. I know it's set in present day, but apart from a few reminders of that, the town and the way everyone interacts feels very much of the past. I can't quite put my finger on why, but I had to keep reminding myself that this is contemporary.

Not as good as the first, but I still want to read the rest of the series.

This was a great addition to "Absolutely Truly"! I think it is a book for people 9 to 13 years old and is overall just a great book, even though I, personally, liked the first one better.

A fun mystery with a little history — what a good read for kids (and adults if you just need a break from the heavy). My 11 year-old daughter enjoys this series, and I’ve read both of the books on her recommendation, making them mother and daughter approved. These books are lighthearted while dealing with age-appropriate issues and modeling healthy families.

Like the first book in the series, this was just as charming to me as the first time I read it. This series is super fun. I really enjoy the mysteries in the books as well as the cast of characters in Pumpkin Falls. Great reads!
