After having fallen in love with Acaster's unique style of wit and cadance he brings to his stand up material, I knew a 300-page book recounting the many big and small scrapes he has accumulated over the years would be an unadulterated look into how he has perceived all of his happenings. I unexpectedly zoomed through this in 48 hours of receiving it, as each short and sweet tale beckoned me to continue on his path of hijinx. I can't remember a time where I out loud laughed more at another book at any other point in my life, Acaster's choices in each scenario truly lead to the wildest outcomes imaginable, as it keeps getting better and more unbelievable the longer each story continues. I cannot recommend this enough if you want to laugh at a slightly clueless child turned adult who learns his lesson several times over.

Very funny, I really like James Acaster’s work and this shone through, though it was just a very average book, but most are so no true problems with it
