This novella is basically this:

“I gulped, hating that after thousands of years there was still no proven method of raising kids.”

and a tad of this:

I enjoyed the story but I feel like this book was a little slow in moments and it was hard to commit to the love story. This was also the first book that the “then and now” slowed the book down. I enjoyed the last quarter of the book once they got out making this book the 4⭐️.

I was a little disappointed that this was the final book. It had lots of action but I don’t feel like it provided closure. I feel like it opened the series back up to more. Like maybe a spin off with the kids?
