This book was insane. And I loved every second of it. It got a little more crazy at the end with so much to keep track of as it tried to wrap up so many different things, but even with that madness, I loved it! As I have said many times, I will read anything by Penelope!

Will is one of my favorites! I loved getting to see inside his head after three books of getting to know him. He is smart and funny and so fineeee! He masks his true emotions with humor (man after my own heart) and doesn't think that he is good enough for those around him, that they don't need him like he needs them, but can't accurately see just how wrong he is. I am so glad that he got clean and started to see his true worth and got to see that he could see this task through and wasn't just a failure. His story and past with Emmy was so cute. He was so sweet with her and patient (

I’ve been reading this for a while but in my defence, I have too many exams for my sake and an incredible work load so the fact that I read a very long book in nine days isn’t that bad. I honestly think “Corrupt” and this one (“Nightfall”) were the best in the series. Once again, I felt like it took a while to get into the book and that there was a lot of unnecessary scenes. I still don’t like Damon. His whole character angers me. Anyway, stan Emory and Will, they’re the only ones I never hated in the series.

Hmmm I don't actually know what I think about this one. Will's story was pretty mehh to me in terms of his background, why he is the way he is and honestly Emmy freakin' sucked. They're whole dynamic was annoying and honestly, there was not a single time that I was rooting for them, down to the actual end of the book. Emmy annoyed me to no end. She annoyed me in high school, annoyed me at BlackChurch, once they got out of BlackChurch, when she got exposed for sending them to prison, when she all of a sudden asked Will to marry her. The whole thing was bullshit, but I kept reading it and the spice was spicy I guess.

I don't actually care what anyone says, Will and Alex should have ended up together. Even Nellie D knew that and that's why she had to give us some bullshit story love with Aydien or however you spell his name. It's also why we had this weird Alex and Emmy on the train. It was just dumb and comparing Alex to Damon? Dumb. As I am writing this, I don't actually know why I am giving this three stars. I hated Will pinning over Emmy, we already got that storyline with Damn. I hate Emmy as a character in general, down to the last page all I wanted to do was roll my eyes with her and her bullshit. I hated Alex getting facked over again and again. The story still could have had Emmy being his high school whatever, but it would have been better if she facked him over and he ended up with Alex.

The only reason I liked this book is because of all of the other characters and storylines. Damon is my favorite, he carried this series post book 1. Erika is a badass beezzy and Alex DESERVED HER OWN DAMN BOOK. Banks and Winter grow on you. Honestly, Will and Damon could have been end game and this whole thing would have been better. Michael's love for Erika is actually my favorite. And the stories connecting together at the end was nice. But also who is the random girl that Michael and Erika adopt? I feel like we could have done without that and the freaking 4 couple wedding, again shitting on Alex.

I want to change my review, but I won't because clearly this book and series made me feel very passionate. I just hated this book because I wanted it to be different. but whatever.
