It has nothing to do with the book (I binge read the rest of the series), I just don't care anymore. I started this book in January and I'm finally giving up. Might come back another time.
Three stars because it doesn't deserve only one just because I gave up. And I really liked the other books.

Well. We are done. No more new stories of this little group. I’m not ok. Ugh. It was so much fun to see this little group 10 years later with all the children and festivities. I’m normally not one for a second generation but this one is pretty perfect. Seeing Michael as a dad 😮💨. I giggled and laughed so hard. Athos really just pushes it and it’s magical. He finally has someone that won’t put up with his shit. Really just seeing them all treat all the kids as their own, didn’t matter who belongs to who. They all are everyone’s kids. The only thing I did I didn’t like was how the story went. I thought it was gonna be a cute little get together. Not stressful potato. I was also sad there was no Alex. She was such a huge part of this whole series and I feel like it do her justice. I did love to see it set up for a second gen storyline if they ever choose to do one (I wouldnt complain) I’m so interested in these kiddos. I’m already missing this little group.

I would literally kill for a book solely dedicate to Mads and Octavias friendship.
God I'm in love with Will Grayson.
Also the train scene, holy shit.

5 Never Changing CROWNS
What is better than your favorite characters from one of your favorite series coming together at Christmas? Not one thing. Penelope Douglas has dropped the best kind of Christmas surprise, bringing all of our beloved Devil's Night crew together in a Christmas celebration filled with the suspense and passion we’ve come to expect of the series.
Told from the POV of each of the guys, Penelope Douglas gives us glimpses into our favorite couples. We get the intimate moments, the worries as parents, and a glimpse into aspects of their kids.
On top of all of this, the author also provides us with a bit of suspense and mischief that comes with these characters and the world of power they have built. It may seem odd that Christmas is the backdrop for the plot line of Fire Night, but it works. We get to see these beloved characters celebrate a holiday and be a family, we see them come together as they do in times of need, and we see them love and cherish the lives they have worked so hard to build.
This novella was PERFECT, offering us a brief taste of a fictional family we have come to love so dearly as well as a glimpse of what might be coming (fingers crossed even if it is a long way in the future). It was the best holiday present!
