Nicholas Sparks does it again. Until the very last page of this wonderful novel, he has you turning page after page wondering and imagining what could come next. While The Lucky One is a romantic story, just as Mr. Sparks is known for, it is also an exciting and gripping tale that will have your heart beating faster than your true love did.

The Nicholas Sparks curse, strikes again!
Couldn't put it down, cried, laughed, smiled, etc... a full array of emotions in this great book.

You can't help but fall in love with Logan. Strong, beautiful, talented in just about every category, and a Marine.

Elizabeth is a young, single mother, also beautiful, and strong in her own way.

I loved Nana's character and her one-liners. They even had me confused sometimes!

This is a great book if you're looking for a good love story.

I will say- I'm positive the author did it on purpose: the way he wrote the last section or so of the book. Left me confused and crying until he later clarified. For a while I thought my worst suspicions had been realized!!

Holy moly this book blew huge chunks! When did Nicholas Sparks get so lame? I literally skipped the last 100 pages and read the last few pages just to be done. Way a waste of time.

Not a bad book by any stretch. Just not knock your socks off good.

This was an easy/palatable read, but I ultimately walked away from it feeling like this is one where the movie is better than the book. In the book, Beth lacks depth or personality, and the ending is hard to follow; both of these issues are resolved in the movie.
