I picked this up at JFK and wanted to trash it by the time I reached ATL. It seems that Max watched a few zombie flicks, made an excell sheet comparing the trends found in the movies, and wrote a book. I am not sure if it was supposed to be funny in any way, but I got bored with it pretty fast.

I bought this book over ten years ago, didn't finish it and restarted reading it more than a year ago.
It took so long to get through it, because it is very repetitive and I just couldn't warm up to the way it was written.
Also the end of it the historical cases, while the most interesting, also sometimes almost held a weird racist undertone to me? I don't know if that's just me or if someone from those regions would agree but it really broke my almost non existent immersion.
This book is just not for me, which makes sense since I bought it when I was a teenager.
