The MFC was likable, I just felt like she missed a lot of clues. The ending also felt rushed. I think I wanted a little more about what happened to the MFC once the mystery was solved. I did enjoy the 12 days of Christmas tie in and the world building of the house. Will read another book by this author

Lilly Armitage wants nothing to do with Endgame House after her mom is found dead in the Hedge Maze. When her aunt Lilian sends an invite to her and her cousins to return to Endgame house to participate in the Christmas Game Lily is forced to return to Endgame House.

The game is simple, solve 12 clues to find 12 keys to get the reward. Except the reward this year is the ownership of Endgame House.

This game takes place over the course of 12 days and during these days Lily discovers all her cousins have their own dark secrets. As the game gets deadly and a snowstorm traps them at the house Lily will have to fight to win the game and for her life as well.

My Thoughts: I enjoyed this one. I love locked room mysteries especially when it’s a snowed in one. I had suspicions on who the killer was near the end but I still enjoyed how the book played out.

I thought the ending was good and I liked that it takes place at Christmas, perfect for the holiday season.

What in the Alabama heehaw shit did I just read?

i guessed white murderer was from quite early on which is always a nice surprise, this book is so gripping and i was on the edge of my seat the whole time, my only gripe with it was it felt ever so slightly to insular all of the clues etc were impossible for the reader to work out and so i lost interest in them
