Friendship, grief, dark humor

Not exactly what I was expecting, but honestly, I still loved it. I laughed, I felt sad, I was hopeful... then I read the authors note at the end and well, it sort of cemented my appreciation for what I read.

What a lovely surprise of a book. Somehow, a book focused on death is one of the most hopeful affirmations of life that I’ve read in years. At times uncomfortable, this novel confronts the most challenging part of life - the loss of it-without veering preachy platitudes.
