I adored this book as a child, and reading it as an adult was no different. The artwork is just superb and the story is one that this monster always related to.

undeniably so much of my childhood. Like it or don't. I really don't care. This book meant everything to me when I heard/read it. Thank you to my dad (who is no longer with us) for letting me hear/see this. This book means so much to me. Goodnight.

I read this "banned" book as part of my libraries reading challenge for 2023. It was a very short, cute story. I am sure a child would enjoy this. The main character has a vivid imagination and was sent to bed without dinner, because he being rowdy. This is why it is considered as a banned book. Vivid imagination and starvation.
