A spurned man. An incensed woman. Two wannabe actors. These are the characters that make up the story of To Snare a Witch.

Charlatans at heart, Matthew and Thomas have taken to traveling from town to town, accusing innocent people of witchcraft and profiting from their lies.Unfortunately for them, they catch the eye of Sir Henry Cruttendon, a terrible man who only has eyes for the woman who rejected him.

Elizabeth Fiennes is set to marry one Jack Tyler. Until the fateful day Henry decides to get his revenge. Accused of witchcraft, Jack is taken away by Matthew and Thomas, and Henry forces Elizabeth to do god-awful things to try and earn Jack's freedom and safety. Too bad Henry doesn't know what he's gotten himself into. Like the saying goes, Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Or, in this case, a woman used and abused.

I rather enjoyed this book. It's a short, quick read that will elicit some serious emotions from the reader. It may also contain possible triggers, as it does deal with rape and violence.

To Snare a Witch is a surprisingly twisty tale of revenge. I loved everything about it.

If you're a fan of stories involving witches and/or revenge, check out To Snare a Witch.

I'm rating it 4.5 stars, only because I wanted it to be longer. I need more witchy revenge!
