Agatha Christie has a reputation for cheating, but this is ridiculous. Several crucial clues are known only to Poirot and are deliberately kept from the reader. I won't say it's impossible to solve this mystery yourself, but Christie has absolutely stacked the deck against you.

Similar to any detective story, the first part is rough trying to know all the characters. It gets better though once the crime has happened and the persons that committed the crime has started to get unveiled. Love is crazy though.
