I really enjoyed the execution of the murder as always and the slow reveal.
Some of the stereotyping was crazy even for the 1930s but especially the audiobook narrator was out of pocket 😂
I also wanted it to be slightly more atmospheric but it was focused more on the characters than the setting which is typical of Agatha Christie so idk what I was thinking!

The suspense! The marvelously over the top dialogue! The ending! A fun fast read!
i was ready for it and i was fighting the dnf demons because i want to finish all these books since i bought them. But. book of colonial attitudes and racism from annoying ass british people. surprise surprise. hardly cared about the murders because it's all just insufferable but shoutout to the double suicide i guess

Classic among classics. Could not put it down, finished the whole book in one sitting. A very fun read, and it was equally as fun and interesting to try and disentangle the case myself.

This was a great little yarn! As with Agatha Christie, her style is quite functional and spare, yet her narrative yields intrigue and excitement. I love you Poirot!!
