Crying on planes because there wasn't quite enough time to finish the book before the flight: The Catey Miller story. (This one was so sad.)

This one was a little slow, but beautiful. Also, I need Louise Penny to stop breaking my heart.

This book broke me. Omg.

Excellent addition to the series. Clara asks Armand to help her find Peter.

In the crescendo of books in Penny’s series, this one felt like an interlude. Not so much a step forward as a brief diversion. They can’t all be favorites!

DID NOT FINISH: 12%

The characters and their thoughts feel unnatural, their behaviours incredibly odd. The mystery itself is just not very interesting.
challenging dark emotional informative mysterious reflective sad tense

A different and extra complex Gamache take as they search for one of their own this time. A fascinating reread too.
