emotional inspiring

i love hannah’s writing style and appreciate the real life situations she depicts in her stories. i also love that i was pleasantly surprised that the plot didn’t involve chloe and warren having to fight too much for willow and luke and everyone could see they were wonderful guardians and a wonderful family!

Under 300 pages!!! finished in a day, a nice quick read. I didn’t love Warren’s attitude in the first few chapters but after learning about him more and him opening up I loved him (even tho the guitar and singing was a little cringey LOL) I like their relationship, it’s silly, goofy but very lovey dovey (see what I did there!!) Them having very similar backgrounds made them falling in love so and opening up to each other so sweet. “tell me to stay” swoon! “i said i didn’t want to be your friend” YUPPPP got me good!! Loved the bonus epilogue from his perspective and his relationship with Willow!

The gymnastics the author had to do to get these two to meet was hard to read and too unreal to even suspend my disbelief. Also, they didn't need to go so hard on the enemies to lovers trope and make them hate each other that much at first sight.

Another great one from Hannah B-Y
Oh my gosh. This one might be my fave of hers 🤭
The cast diversity and character development is amazing. All characters are so lovely and people I can see myself gravitating towards. This is about found family and making the most from your life.

This was my second Hannah Bonam-Young book, and my second five stars one. I loved the concept of this book, and how Chloe and Warren managed to work together to make their family situations better. I also feel like for the most part they communicated in a very healthy way, which was nice to read about.
