once upon a time we did a Taylor Swift eras display at the bookstore and if memory serves, slotted this under “folklore” and WOW WERE WE CORRECT. Ohhh this magical, gentle, understated little book. I was swept away to a cozy cottage in the woods by a crackling fire in 0.25 seconds of starting the audiobook. The narrator!! The vibes!! The wild and weird and wonderful nature of the woods and what lives in it. Tobias and Henry have my whole heart 🥹

It was a really nice book and the narrator had the PERFECT voices for these characters. They're both quick little reads for when you need a book pick-me-up, though I prefer the first to the second. I like Tobias better as a narrator.
