Hands Down

Mariana Zapata

3.83 AVERAGE

I preface this by saying that Wall of Winnipeg and Me was my first Mariana Zapata book and I absolutely enjoyed Zac and think he was a great side character!! Upon finishing that, I didn't actually look into her books since I wasn't in the mood for sports romance. After a while, I finally went on a Mariana Zapata binge and read Kulti, From Lukov with Love and All Rhodes Lead Here back to back.

TODAY IS A SAD DAY. my mz marathon has sadly come to an end. it’s been a little over a year long journey a

The fact that I’ve cried at the ending of about 4 of Mariana’s books just does to show how amazing they are. I’ve loved Zac since The Wall of Winnipeg and Me, so to get to see more of him in this story was so much fun. And Bianca? I’m in love with her!!! I love how sweet she was, and how hard she worked for the things she wanted. And Zac? This author writes the most lovable male character ever. I want a Zac. Now please. AND THE IVAN AND JAS MENTION???? I squealed!!

I don’t have much more to say, other than you should read this book and ignore some of the negative reviews. I wasn’t going to read this book at first because of the reviews, but I’m so glad I did. If you like slow burns, then this is for you.
