Alexie has a unique and beautiful voice. The plot was good, however, I prefer Alexie's The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven.

I really liked this book. The writing is amazing. I like how Alexie weaves the magic into the story. It's subtle, and wonderful.
Meh, I'm giving up on this one. I really love Sherman Alexie and heard this novel was great, but it's just not grabbing me. My disinterest in this book may stem from the fact that I really can't stand magic realism. So as soon as the guitar started playing itself, my attention waned.
