I love the plot, but the romance moved WAY too fast for me. I also think the F!MC bonded with and changed her motivations a bit quicker than realistically, but that might’ve js been me.

I love Phobia, and wish he played a more major role too

The plot twists were easily predicted, even for me (someone who is painfully oblivious).

I kept going back and forth about whether this was a five star read or not when I first finished it, and went with four stars at first, but the fact is this was just a lot of FUN and I could see myself coming back to re-read it multiple times.

As a person who really loves ultra heroic heroes this might sound odd for me to say, but I loved the real world messiness and how hard it was to draw the lines between good guys and bad guys sometimes. In FACT, if the story had taken that even further it might have been a full five star read for me!

It works though, because we do have some characters that are truly heroic to root for in the midst of a confusing world, which is just the best combination for me.
