When sweet and innocent Carnie shows up at the MC asking for help what could possibly go wrong? Well you find out in this book. This is a sweet story and I really enjoyed it. There is a bit of a mystery and a little bit of action just like the books previous to this one in the series.
We get to know the quiet brother in this one. The one that doesn't rock the boat and does what needs to be done when asked. Carnie our sweet and innocent heroine has been targeted by someone from her past. As their story unfolds we find out just why Freak has the road name Freak, and sweet and innocent Carnie isn't as sweet and innocent as we all think. We get caught up with the girl gang, and Alice does not disappoint at all. I know this review really doesn't say a whole lot, but I do not want to give anything away. Oh and I am so looking forward to the next in the series...……..

Oh I seriously love Carnie! She is awesome! I love her feistyness and sass. She is now my favorite Fallen Lords lady.

I was extremely excited that Freak finally got his own book. I have been waiting on that beautiful soul since he first showed up. Now Carnie and Wendy I was so worried about those girls. Carnie is a beautiful girl who may be young but she sure is an old soul. I was worried about her and Freak well because you know why.
Like all of my beautiful alpha males they have a softer side when it comes to there women but can be extremely lethal when they feel threatened. Carnie needed the clubs help and just so happens to need a bodyguard while the club is finding an enemy lurking in the shadows.
Carnie wanted Freak but when he finds out her age he takes a step back and that hurts her worse. Does the she stop them before the even begin?
I was on the edge of my seat from page one. I laughed while reading, cried while reading it ND silently cheered Wendy on. I wanted to kill Freak and hug Carnie.
Winter Travers books keep getting better and better. The way the words just flow off the pages and come together it's perfect. The characters are not overly basic or annoying, they don't butt heads nor do they get over dramatic or get on your last nerve. You can tell she puts her heart and soul in every book she writes.

It was so good to be back with the Fallen Lords. I loved Freak and Carnie together, they balanced each other. Carnie had a kicka** attitude that was so refreshing and Freak was such a sweetheart. I loved the storyline and can’t wait to dive into the next book in the series.

I love this whole series so much! Freak was no execption. The characters and story flow with humor and feels mixed together. This is one of my favorite MC series. Freak and Carnie are great together, and I love how there isn't a lot of couple drama. I highly recommend this book, well the whole series really.
