Wow this has to be the spiciest series I’ve ever read. I was just as shocked as Abbi to be experiencing some of the stuff in this book! I love that the author came through with more Henry and those swoon worthy moments he has. And I enjoyed seeing the Alaska crew again, that was nice. The only complaint that I have about this book was the abrupt ending, but even that didn’t piss me off like After’s (Anna Todd) ending, so I’m ok with it.
The twists in this surprised me! I wasn’t expecting the first one for sure. Kind of saw the second one but it didn’t play out the way I thought it would. This was definitely more spice than I cared for. I was more interested in everything else at this point in the series. We get it, they’re crazy horny.
So it's over, and I don't know what to think. I enjoyed the series and I can see why it was so hyped.
Did I like Abbi and Henry? Yes.
Was I rooting for their relationship? Yes.
Did I struggle with them from time to time? Yes.
Was I glad to see Henry share his feelings? Absolutely.
My main takeaway was that this entire series was really about Abbi discovering her sexuality, and what a journey that was.
There was so much that happened in this book. How much of it was truly necessary, I don't know. From all the time that Abbi and Henry spent together, to the devastating news, to the shocking news, to the situation at the mine-it was just a lot. Not to mention Abbi's new business venture, and how fast tracked all that was.
I loved that Abbi made her way back to Alaska, and was able to reconnect with her "friends". Also, the hot tub scene, and what happened after the hot tub, I was not expecting. Not at all. I mean I should have because Margo was involved, but at the same time I didn't think it would happen.
The way this book ended has me wondering if Abbi had the wedding she described. How did her Mom take that news, and did she allow the wedding to happen the way Abbi desired? Or did she take over? Then there's the guys, did she ever see them again? I need an epilogue!

The series went a bit downhill for me, but I also need to acknowledge I’m a ruthless judge. I read my first rating, and I mentioned “it is what it is” this story knows exactly what it is. It’s juvenile, trashy, and a bit to controlling for me, but also- it is what it is. I was entertained, and that’s what I need to remember. Lol.
Also, I think this is my least favorite because it was wayyyyy to similar to the 50shades plot. (Or at least the movies)

Is it primarily smut? Yes. Was there major conflict? Not really. But let me tell you. ITS REALLLY GOOD.
Ok. So first & foremost. This author writes some fucking delicious ass spicy scenes. They are hot. Really fucking hot. But let me tell you why this didn’t get 5 stars from me. Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed the series but I’m kind of annoyed at the pacing. We spend 4 books on one couple. & there’s half of a chapter wrapping it all up. No epilogue. No peak into the future. It felt like the author was like “ahhh shit this book is getting too long, wrap it tf up” and rushed the ending. If that wouldn’t have happened.. this book would’ve gotten 5 stars.
But unfortunately this series didn’t have much of a foundation. I feel like the author had no idea how she was going to end it & just winged the entire thing.
So yeah, my 4 stars is for Henry, Ronan & the spice. That’s how amazing the spice was lol. Without it this series would be rated much lower

Henry finally having feelings and being gentle with her when she needs it.
3.5⭐️- this book was all smut over plot and I was onboard with it. I am so happy Ronan was involved again because I love him and wish the three of them were together more. Would have loved an epilogue.
