cette dixième relecture confirme une nouvelle fois que la moi de 15 ans avait grave bon goût

Please do not waste your time reading this book or the rest of the books in the series. This book was so bland. Every character was white and straight, The plot was nonexistent and the characters were mediocre at best. I got bored of the main relationship in the second book.I don’t know why I keep giving this author the benefit of the doubt when I’ve hated all of her books

Afshjdksjsgsjsjjs the blood and ash series has its ups and downs but it's Shakespeare in comparison

Well this was disappointing... I truly hate it when I come across so many reviews and each of those compare a book to Twilight. Because Twilight SUCKED. That series ia what all suckiness and terror is measured by.. So naturally when I get a Twilight comparison, that sticks with me and I can't get it out of my head.

But I went for the book anyway because I'm not going to be influenced by it and let Twilight possibly keep me from reading a book I could love. But yeah.... I certainly didn't love it. I didn't even like it.

After reading even more than half of this book I was bored. Bored out of my mind. The story is slow and even when something happens it's just BLAH and MEH and not exciting at all.
Apart from being boring it is also way to predictable.
Super hot guy meets new girl. She's of course sooo different from all the other girls around here. But he acts like he hates her only to safe her. ANd after he's saved her she starts to question his "normality". Oh and what a coincidence that the Daemon stops his bitching and being a total dick Ash appears. Oh yeah, because no good YA book can be without a over careful and arrogant bitch.

I'll give Armentrout kudos for Katy. When she's not swooning over the out of this world (pun intended) gorgeous boy next door she's actually quite an interessting heroine. But that's about it.

*3.5 stars*

Dayum this was a great book! I really liked the love story in this one because it’s not really love. It’s love and hate and that makes it hot! I sort of had the feeling that with all the hot and cold that it was going to be really similar to twilight but I love how Katy is so feisty and absolutely doesn’t take Daemon’s crap.

I can’t wait until I get my hands on the next book!

Holy mother of pearl... It's been a long time since a book has captivated me this much! Wow... I did not expect to love this series as much as I did, but Armentrout certainly knows what she's doing! The world of Luxen is absolutely enthralling and had me practically ripping the pages out trying to turn to the next one! Kat is such a witty and sarcastic heroine that's it's impossible not to love her as soon as you view the synopsis! And of course, we can't forget Daemon and his lovely endearments can we? ^_~ Haha! Man, I need the second book, like, yesterday! <3<3<3<3 Because I'm totally game for the next challenge! ^_^
