the enemies to lovers in this was top tier!! i really enjoyed the political games in this book. I loved the character development and the way the romance grew was very satisfying!!
However I will say that the characters are not very good people!!! keep this in mind when going into the book! they do some not good things throughout the book! they’re in politics so it makes sense to me, but I saw some reviews complaining about this. So just keep it in mind.
I think that they’re still somewhat relatable and I think they grow by the end of the book.

This was well-written and a quick read. I laughed alot, but oof, several of the characters, including one of the heros, were just irredeemable to me. Or, at least, they were irredeemable without a lot more work and effort towards improving themselves.

I just can’t read about such unlovable characters. I’m getting frustrated and sad, I feel really bad for Clay and I’m hating Thom. I did read some reviews and it seems like Thom doesn’t get much of a redemption and I just can’t keep reading when it’s making me so uncomfortable.
