This book has the worst grammar and wording EVER. It's written in English by a Flemish author and you can tell: the sentence structure does NOT follow the English grammar rules AT ALL. Some sentences were so literally translated I cried and laughed at the same time. It's like Google Translate wrote this book. I'm not saying I speak English perfectly (just like the author it's not my native language), but this was really something else. But, I have to admit, I didn't finish a book this fast in a quite a while. Even though the story lacks emotional depth, it is a very easy read and I found the Doomsday-preppers theme very interesting. If you're looking for a simple, enjoyable book with some tension (possibly to recover from a reading slumb), this is a book you could consider!

I loved the way this book was written. Flipping back and forth to read the story from each characters point of view was great. It was very hard to put down.
