Not particularly inventive or well written, but somehow better than the first? The thing that seemed the least believable (other than how gullible Millie is) was how flakey the lawyer turned out to be. The rest is very unbelievable too but the ride was fun and I like this set up for a series.

This was a little underwhelming because the 1st book set my expectations so high. It also followed a similar structure of the 1st book, which wasn’t something I was a fan of. But I still can’t wait to read the 3rd one!
