In the fourth book of the series, we find Broderick again on the search for his wife. This time she has reincarnated as Celina. I think this is my favourite book of the series so far, as we have Norse and Celtic mythology, Wolves and Selkies, to name but a few. Celina is a feisty warrior, not afraid to fight for what she believes in or what she wants. I will admit, I loved Davina. She was perfect for Broderick at that time and in that place. Her reincarnations though, just seem to get better each time.
With more of the story and the prophecy becoming clearer as we move through the stories, there is a lot more information available and yet still more needed. This is a series that will take you to the very end not knowing which way it will go.
Excellently written, joining up all the storylines seamlessly, and with no editing issues that I found. This is a book definitely recommended, but read the whole series to make the most of it!

I loved this story!!!! This was another great installment in this series. This is the fourth book and because they build off of each other quite a bit, I recommend reading them in order. It is definitely worth checking out every book. We get to see familiar characters again and the prophecy progresses even further. Broderick has found his soul mate again in Celina. There's quite a few obstacles for them to overcome this time and be together. Celina is a wolf shifter and so knows what Broderick is right away. I really loved the way that this story was done and how Celina and Broderick build their relationship. There's quite a bit of action in this story and we learn more about the Army of Light and what they've turned into. This is an interesting twist. I don't want to spoil anything so I won't say but it definitely changes things. The sex is hot, explicit and fits into the story perfectly. There's action in this story and plenty of intrigue to keep you completely involved. Once I started reading, I didn't want to put it down. This story is complete but it does build off of the previous ones and continues the overall story that has been set up. Each book is set in a different time. It's done very well and I can't wait to read the next one. I'm very excited to see where this goes next.

Adding Norse wolves now? A fun twist! The soul bound love is a great (and initially disturbing) piece to this series. I love that Broderick gets called to his soulmate, but when you invest in the female character a little, well just don't, because she's not staying around after the book finale. That was really frustrating at first, but necessary considering the immortality of vampires and the human frailty.
Downgraded a star because I needed more background on the race to invest. Afterwards I understand why the author chose not to spend much time on it, as she just kills off the female leads, but for me it needed a little more... Just more. The Norse mythology is fascinating and she introduces it, Broderick benefits from it in the end, and we don't learn enough 'why'.
Still an amazing series, I enjoyed it immensely!
