Jodie King has done it AGAIN! Hollow Hellion is a masterclass in dark romance—raw, brutal, and utterly unputdownable. From the first page, this book had me in a chokehold, and I loved every second of it.

⛓️ Their chemistry? Pure, twisted fire. Jodie King doesn’t just write stories—she crafts nightmares laced with desire, and I’m here for every single dark and depraved moment.
This is not for the faint of heart, but if you love your romance dipped in blood, obsession, and morally gray chaos, Hollow Hellion is a must-read. Hands down, one of my favorite dark romances of the year. Jodie King is, and forever will be, my go-to dark romance author!

I loved how Jodie goes into Noir and her story, her writing on mental health is interesting and well done. Anyone who has ever felt numb in their life can find Noir relatable. Even if you haven’t, her character is so well done, you can’t help but like her. I don’t usually like FMC and I liked her a lot. The descriptions of the circus are great and paint a perfect picture. Noir finds herself feeling desired for the first time in her life…it is none other than Hell that invokes those feelings. I have said it over and over, it is a consistent thing in romance books. People love to feel desired. This story was so dark. Hell is unhinged. I still found traits of his that I loved, despite him having mostly black morals. Hell, was still not 100% pitch black to me. He had some goodness in him, and it all went to his Dolly.

This book has forever ruined ALL expectations for every other book labeled dark! It will eternally live rent free in my head. This was my very first read by this author and I’m beyond blown away! She delivered everything I’ve been seeking and then some!
Okay so this book is either your type or it isn’t. If you can’t do pitch black dark, gore, and sm*t don’t even attempt to read it.

This is the absolute perfect level of pitch black darkness I’ve been craving! Absolute mindf*ck of a story! Deliciously devoured and will definitely add this to my shelf and forever talk about it.
The best balance of spice and gore to keep you turning page after page and begging for a release.
Hellion is an absolute beast in this book, he’s ruthless, unhinged, demented, psychotic, and much more guaranteed to leave you feening to re read this book.
Noir is a strong, resilient fmc that will leave you flabbergasted and how she bounces back from everything.
The ending leaves you feening for more.
And for those complaining it was gruesome and horrible, no one asked you to read it. Don’t bash this amazing author bc this book wasn’t your cup of tea!
