Otro libro más de Nora Roberts que me ha mantenido enganchada!!
slow-paced
The mystery and suspense wasn’t awful. And at times I really enjoyed that part. But why did this have to be 600 pages? Hundreds of these pages were just them going absolutely no where with the case then bam! Last 2% and it’s figured out and taken care of. And the romance was definitely not my fave. Couldn’t stand Meg. It was entertaining enough and I wanted to know what happened so just slowly made my way through it.

I'm a sucker for small towns filled with quirky characters, and Lunacy was certainly no different. I loved our sweet, sarcastic, tortured main man, but the leading lady fell a bit short for me. Still, a fun little 3.5-star read.
I'm not a big Nora Roberts person but I found this book at a used book sale and decided to try it.
I thought it was a very pretty setting, with some well drawn characters, and an interesting murder mystery that did keep me flipping the pages to the end. I also thought it was well written.
All that being said, the story and the characters didn't grip me or move me or show me anything new about humanity. It's a safe tale, a quick read, and moderately enjoyable.

I think this is the first Nora Roberts book I've read. I chose this book as a Popsugar challenge. I was pleasantly surprised. This was a good murder mystery book, which was another pleasant surprise because I'm not a huge fan of mystery either. Nate was a good character, and I really enjoyed the characters that belonged to the little town of Lunacy. I was very invested in the town and the mystery. There were some parts that moved a little too quickly and were a little unrealistic, but I was able to go with it for the sake of the story. And even though this was a long book, it didn't feel like it dragged or had an unnecessary scenes. Everything that happened built up the story and connected you to the characters so that the ending really hit home. I'd definitely read another Nora Roberts book.
