Mia and Parker have known each other since high school. She had a crush on him ever since, he also felt something for her, but she was the forbidden fruit as the younger sister of his best friend. Their paths spread when Mia met another man. Only after two years when she ended her relationship, she regained the same friendship with Parker. During this time, Parker became a silent investor in the Society X club. And Mia went there during her friend's bachelorette party. This particular club is an anonymous club that has strippers and all sorts of sexy goings on. The real draw to this club though, is "The Dark Room" This room is where ALL of your fantasies can come true, and the only real rules in it is that you can't talk or know who your partner is. You are screened before being accepted, as well as you fill out a form about what it is you want from the Dark Room. Mia's friends convince her to let loose and apply to become a member.
When the she does finally participate in that Dark Room, all of her fantasies do come true, and she develops a real connection to her partner. She doesn't know who he is though....What happens when she find out?
I liked the book but the sex scenes where not as good as they could be with the premise of the book. You expect hot kinky sex in a club like this.

Unexpected!
This sweet romance was not what I was expecting from a sex club book! Great characters, steamy sex, intriguing storyline... you might not be able to see in the dark room, but you can feel your way through a sexy story.

Holy Smokes ever since I heard about this book I've been dying to read it. Now after buying it and reading it in one sitting I now find myself wondering how I can get into Society X especially the Dark Room. I'm also left with this immense need for more of Parker and Mia and most importantly Society X. From the moment I picked it up I found myself caught up in the plot of the story. I found myself laughing at points throughout the story and being pleasantly surprised and maybe a little shocked at others. No matter what emotion the book made me feel the one thing I knew throughout is that I had to find out what was gonna happen next. A definite steamy, sexy, and fast paced book that will leaving you wanting more and rereading time and again.
LP Dover and Heidi McLaughlin you both did an outstanding job with this book. You two managed to create characters and a world that draws their reader in and captivates them. I can't wait to see what you two will come up with next for us. Thank you so much for bringing me Parker (God do I want one of him. You will all understand why after reading the story...no spoilers allowed) and Mia. Most importantly thank you for bringing me Society X and the very fanfreakentastic Dark Room, which by the way I found to be a complete turn on.

wow what an amazing book, i loved this story about the dark room, this is a first read from this author definitely wont be the last, cant wait for the next in the series.

This book was unbelievably hot. I love L.P. Dover and Heidi MCLaughlin's writing separately. But them both together and hot damn.
If given the chance would you live out some of your secret desires? This book is about the possibility of letting go and exploring your fantasies. Once you enter the dark room you are not to allowed to talk or see. You can experience one of the best nights of your life. But if you break the rules that's it your out. To find out what all could happen in the Dark Room read it. You will not regret it.
