A brief collection of short paragraphs unused by the author in his other published novels from the His Dark Materials series.

The snippets were well-written and lovely, but felt flat and meaningless sometimes with further context and without having recently read any of his other works. I’m glad it was so quick to read so I didn’t spend more time on it.

This reads like a poetry book. It is snippets of stories and moments with characters from the world of His Dark Materials. Nothing earth-shattering but fun to read if you’re a fan of that series.
