Feel good fiction in a nutshell! I love the diverse line up characters and how they are able to become such good friends despite how different their life experiences are. Such a cosy, wholesome read and it was wonderful to see the character development. Not 5 stars because reading about

Emmie's toxic relationship was a bit anxiety inducing for me.

This book does not live up to The Authenticity Project. The plot felt derivative, the story was predictable, and the characters didn’t feel like real people. Lighthearted, but ultimately not that good.

This hit all of my favorite notes. Found community, found purpose, a lovely bit of gossip, an older woman with a twinkle in her eye and stories to tell, young love, people helping each other out, someone becoming a teacher, with a bit of fabulous “it” girl energy and gay love sprinkled on top.
