Actually such a good read! It took me a while to be hooked (chapter 19 to be exact is when I was). Love the different characters and struggles. As well as the friendship that forms during a daily commute. We should all be so brave to have human interaction. It’s never to late. Shine. Fight. Stand tall. Use your voice to make a difference.

One of top three January favorites.

Listened as an audiobook. I did really enjoy this. The characters were varied, it was lighthearted and fun whilst also touching on tricky subjects. This is the third piece of work I have read from this author and each one has been entertaining from start to finish. Her flourish of humour that weaves through the story is something I don’t often find with other authors. I look forward to reading another one of her stories next!

I read “Iona Iverson’s Rules for Commuting” and learned that it’s the same book under a different title. I was on the hunt for more of Clare Pooley’s novels after loving How to Age Disgracefully and was thrilled to find this at my local library. I loved this book just as much as I loved that one! Such a cozy read, full of lovable characters. Can’t wait to read more!
