Me ha quedado un mal sabor de boca. Tanto tiempo con estos personajes para que termine así... Pero era de esperar, en medio de la dictadura de Rosas en Argentina, desde que se supo de la existencia de Eduardo todo se vino abajo, tendrían que haber huído en ese momento.

Está bien escrito, los personajes están bien caracterizado, no puedo opinar de la veracidad del estado de Buenos Aires porque no lo viví ni vivo ahí pero, según investigué, las referencias históricas son acertadas. Se me hizo un poco lenta en los capítulos "de relleno" pero en general, fue una buena historia.

The book explains the characters in great detail and offers the reader a good idea of what the argument of the story is. Sadly, the story invests a bigger amount of chapters explaining those aspects than the amount required to do so. There are many characters and events that do not contribute to the plot. Because it is a story based upon 19th century Argentina's dictatorship, some of the political concepts, characters and events might be complicated for those readers who do not have knowledge in this subject.

Love, love, love. A pretty dense book, but rich in storyline and character- will definitely read again in the near future.
