I honestly don’t love these books, but I do want to finish the series and I’ve heard the next series is better. I like the mythology like I’ve said and the inclusion of so many gods. I do love the characters, even Tyson has grown on me. I am just having trouble getting immersed into the story, especially in this one. I also realize I am not the target audience for this book and I always consider that when reviewing middle grade books. Overall, I am hopeful that the last one will be the best one and wrap up the series well.

I really enjoyed this book! The first few books in the series did a really good job of setting up the world and introducing the cast of characters to get me invested and now we're really jumping into the meat of the story!

I just love Percy as a narrator, he's so sweet! I'm loving how each of the Greek gods and goddesses are getting their moment in the sun and as someone with a love of mythology, I knew I'd love the series but this kind of stuff really does just scratch that itch!
