No third act breakup. Always a good thing.

I will give it a 3,5.

I have a problem with the best friend's ex trope and i was mad because it doesn't even feel like they were best friends at all. I feel like it will be way better if Colt and Logan were just in the same hockey team.

I wasn’t sure what I was going to get with this book when I started it. Because While Ashlynn is dating Logan, Colt enters the picture. This gives it a topsy turvy story right out of the gate and I was utterly spellbound by Rae’s story telling. This is a slow build up story with all the angst and college drama that ensues and I really loved it from start to finish. Rae has a way of wrapping so many emotions that feel real in her stories and with Ashlynn, she 100% nailed it. Great read!

I read this book for the second time because I remembered that there was the 2nd book and I think that it was way better the first time. Like might it be because I'm in my classic literature era? (not in a pretentious way I swear)... but like nonetheless I literally am obsessed with Colt. How could I not be? Pretty sure the second book is about his sister and theo so that's so fun!!!! The scene where he goes to pick her up after her car breaks down...AND IT IS POURING??? So good. I'm such a sucker for that shit I literally eat it up, like he is obsessed with her? makes perfect sense to me. I think that we should make men read more romcoms, and then maybe I would be able to stand more of them that way. Okay byeee! <3

I loved this book. The banter between Colt and Ashlyn added to their chemistry. The way they met and the chemistry they had was hot.
