Forgot about it, then when looking for something to read, I find this again and decide to give it a go- this was insane. Deliciously fat fl teams up with a demon to get revenge on the man who assaulted her and in the process, they end up falling in love. I loved it!!

Joy is really that girl. She sets out to take revenge against the man that R-worded her.
She intends to unalive him and then enlists Malachi, a demon to help her make it look like an accident.
There are so many things I love about this book.
-The fact that it’s set in Nigeria and there were so many relatable elements to it because I’m Nigerian.
-My babe gets her revenge and it was so satisfyingggg.
-I truly enjoyed her journey of reclaiming her body after that traumatic incident happened to her.
She and Malachi also develop a romance during the course of her revenge plot and it was so cute.
-The way they respected each other bodies. -The way Malachi worshipped her. There was so much softness and tenderness to their love. Their love was so believable and easy to root for.
I love this story much.

Uh oh!!!! A character who’s starved of love and who takes to human connection like a moth to flame, gorging on the scraps of it oppa shelter dog style!! Worshipful and devoted, sweet and gentle????? :) ahaha don’t look too closely at why that matters so much to me!!!!!!!!!!

It was a good book I can’t lie, I was distracted when reading it but it was a fast and coherent read even though. I liked how African spirituality was portrayed, it wasn’t demonised. But demonstrated its use in the best way, I like how Joy wasn’t made out to be the evil or the villain for searching for other terms of justice. I’m happy that she got her revenge and her man
